lyrics
growing circle of chaos
expanding infinite
surrounding entire galaxies
connecting
thousands of stars
innately designed to destroy
across this forsaken stretch of time
planetary bodies consumed in its pathway
monolithic structure, order from chaos
all encompassing being
fabric of sentience tearing into reality
eternally evolving
consciousness
the ability to observe
the unknown origins of this life
the fractal generator
instant of causation
generating consciousness
monolithic structures within
covering the field,
inception (of chaos)
generating consciousness
evolving from a single point
never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
i checked out bands coming to my town, and xoth were on the list. at first i thought they were cheesy since i only liked metal to be deep, dark, and atmospheric .
i did enjoy the technical complexity, so i gave them another chance. i equated shredding with jockishness (ugh), but i now see it as a creative choice. i just had to approach it on my own terms, and xoth was the perfect gateway for this. they really opened up a new world for me. quasiotter
Channeling philosophical quandaries into cavernous death metal, the Australian trio turn modern power struggles into an aural advantage. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 13, 2022
Mind-flaying brutal technical death metal that will pulverize you to smithereens while its complex structures stun your cerebral cortex. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 19, 2022
Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
